BATCH WISE DETAIL

This option is used to maintain manufacturing and expiry date of any stock item.

Example:-

Altos Pvt. Ltd. purchased 100 streples of Combiflam medicine for Rs. 2 each. Manufacturing date of the medicine is 01.04.15 and expiry date is 01.06.15.
Record the above transaction.

To maintain:-

First of all create a company and then activate batch wise details as follow:-


To Activate Batch Wise Detail: - G.O.T. (Gateway of Tally)--> Press F11 (Company Features)--> Press F2 (Inventory Features).


Now create stock master:-

To Create Stock Group: - G.O.T. (Gateway of Tally)--> Inventory Info--> Stock Group--> Create.


To Create Stock Item: - G.O.T. (Gateway of Tally)--> Inventory Info--> Stock Item--> Create.


After that, create ledger as follow:-

Path for ledger creation: - G.O.T. (Gateway of Tally)--> Accounts Info--> Ledger--> Create (Single).


And then do voucher entry:-

Path for voucher creation: - G.O.T. (Gateway of Tally)--> Inventory Voucher--> Press F9 (Purchase Voucher).


Press “enter” to set batch wise details as follow:-


After that accept the voucher by pressing “enter” key.


Ageing analysis: - Batch Wise Detail summary is shown through ageing analysis.

To View Ageing Analysis: - G.O.T. (Gateway of Tally)--> Display--> Inventory Book--> Ageing Analysis--> Medicine.


If you want to set ageing analysis, then press F6 and fill as follow:-


To change ageing style, press “Alt + S”.


Set ageing analysis style by expiry date as given below:-


And then press “enter”.


You can see that all batches are shown by expiry date.

Press “Alt + F1” for more details.
