BACKUP AND RESTORE Backup and Restore are two important technical features of the tally, that is used to prevent data from accidentally lost and corrupt. TALLY BACKUP Backup tool is used to create a backup file for the selected number of companies. To create a backup file, we have to follow the below steps. 1. Open the Tally ERP-9 2. Click on "Company Info." or press "Alt + F3" 3. Now click on "Backup" option. 4. Enter the destination path and select the companies. 5. Now press "Y" to accept and create the backup file. RESTORE IN TALLY ERP 9 Restore tool is used to regain data from an already existing backup file. To restore, follow the below steps.  1. Open the Tally ERP-9 2. Click on "Company Info." or press "Alt + F3" 3. Now click on "Restore" option. 4. It will automatically access the last backup path. 5. Select the company from the backup file. 6. Ltd. purchased 100 streples of Combiflam medicine for Rs. 2 each. Manufacturing date of the medicine is 01.04.15 and expiry date is 01.06.15. Record the above transaction.
